That all Democratic factions from the right and left have united around the type of perspective that Representative John Murtha has called for- namely, that the "war" in Iraq is unwinnable and that the US should begin withdrawl by the end of the year- bodes well for the Democrats and is why Cheney and company are so hot to keep the fires of war burning!!!!
And notice that sane Republicans, like Sen. Hagel from Nebraska, are echoing that call, and Senator Warner from Virginia, suggested at the Senate Armed Forces Committee Hearing this week, that in fact, it may be the case, that US FORCES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED BY CONGRESS TO BE IN IRAQ IN THE CONTEXT OF CIVIL WAR- shows that if the Denocrats show sanity.... it could become contagious!!!! Gerald Pechenuk

I hope Dean is heavily televized.

You'd think the party will demand Blagovich finally go to Springfield for the duration.

What looney bin do guys like Gerald get computer time from? He puts partisian politics over the success of our country during the war on terror! And this was once the party of JFK and FDR! Coward, the terrorist best friend.

Carl-This is not our war to fight. I hate terrorism as much as the next person, but if you want to call me the terrorists' best friend what can I do to stop you? If you educated yourself on the damage to global security and national security that the war with Iraq has inflicted, you would no longer agree with it either. I love our troops, I hate terrorists, and I am smart enough to know that this war will not stop terrorism and that our troops are dying in vain. Explain to a dead soldier's mother why we will always have a terror alert system when you told her that her son died to end terrorism. The current state this country is stuck in will lead to isolation and paranoia, which in turn will cause violence and desperation. Our nation now has over 2,500 dead to grieve along with those we lost on 9/11. You can not solve murder with murder.

The Constitution has been ignored, trampled and discounted by this Republican administration.
The President, Vice President, & his cronies have lied to us, used us and placed us in more danger. They betrayed a CIA agent. Long Live the United Nations and Peace Keeping forces!
