Washington, DC – The Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr. has been granted an audience with Dr. Imad Moustapha, the Syrian Ambassador to the United States. He will meet with Ambassador Moustapha at 12 noon on Thursday, July 27, 2007, at the Syrian Embassy in Washington DC.
Reverend Jackson will engage the Syrian Ambassador in a dialogue concerning the crisis gripping the Middle East, and explore ways in which Syria might play a positive role in the peace process.
