Pelosi Salutes Hastert on Becoming Longest Serving Republican Speaker of the House
Washington, D.C. - House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on Speaker Hastert becoming the longest serving Republican Speaker of the House on Thursday:
"I salute Speaker Hastert for reaching this milestone - it is a testament to his leadership within the Republican Conference and the halls of Congress.
