Lynn Sweet is a columnist and the Washington Bureau Chief for the 
Mr. Gutierrez wants a larger power base of votes that why his concern for the illegals. ............. If they want to do the right thing by the US citizens why not put it to a Vote.

Bush can just have a "phone" vote and have the NSA tabulate it!! HELLO!
am confident the Senate will find his counsel on immigration reform every bit as invaluable as his colleagues in the House did.
