RNC's Mehlman: Hits Chicago on Friday. So does NRCC chief Reynolds.

On Friday, Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman is in Chicago to rally support for the Illinois ticket. He will huddle with GOP governor nominee Judy Baar Topinka and travel to north suburban Kildeer to appear at a press conference with 8th District nominee David McSweeney who is running against Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.).

Rep. Tom Reynolds (R-N.Y), who heads the GOP House political arm, the National Republican Congressional Committee will attend. Reynolds is the GOP counterpart to Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) the chief of the House Democratic political arm.
