Sunday News Show Update: Durbin on Fox News Sunday. Topics...Third year of Iraq war---NSA domestic spying---Bush censure

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the number two Democrat in the Senate, is a guest this morning on FOX NEWS SUNDAY.

Another newsmaker is Gen. George Casey , the Commanding General of the U.S. led Multi-National Force in Iraq.

The topics on the docket include three years of war in Iraq plus the legality of the NSA surveillance program and call for Bush censure.

Dick Durbin is a disgrace to his constituents in Illinois. Somehow he thinks evasive answers, baseless allegations and "bitch & moan" are policies that move America forward.

I thought Durbin's statements were useful, but reflected the lack of commitment to a political strategy on the part of the Democratic party. I'd like to see some unity, but I also can't stand the party-line Republicans, who appear to have no thoughts of their own. I respect the Democrats for allowing their party members to have individual opinions. Now they just need a leader.
