9 a.m. Holds news conference. First since January. Brady briefing room in the West Wing.

10:10 a.m. Meets with President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of the Republic of Liberia.

12:55 p.m. President and Laura Bush meet with Iraq and Afghanistan Non-Governmental Organizations.

No gaggle or briefing.

Vice President Cheney heads to Scott AFB in downstate Illinois near Belleville.

9 a.m. Arrives Scott Airforce Base, Illinois.
9:20 a.m. Participates in a command briefing by General Schwarz, Commander of TRANSCOM.

10:35 a.m. Delivers remarks on Iraq and the global war on terror at a rally for the troops at Scott Air Force Base.

11:20 p.m. Departs Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
