I just had an ``only-in-Washington'' moment.
A few hours ago, I sent an e-mail to two of my Sun-Times colleagues in the Chicago newsroom attaching a press release about the upcoming Cherry Blossom festival. My thought was they may want to come visit me in Washington and see the lovely blooms.
Replied one of my invitees, Nancy Moffett, an assistant city editor, ``only in D.C. is God's work schedule announced by press conference!''
