Former Marshall, Rutgers and Phoenix Mercury star Cappie Pondexter will host a free girls basketball clinic Friday at Marshall High School from noon-4. The camp is for girls in grades 2-8. Registration is at 10 a.m. and forms can be found on the internet at www.cappiepondexter.com. In addition to Pondexter, Phoenix Mercury assistant coach Bridget Pettis, Mercury forward Tangela Smith and Minnesota Lynx guard Siemone Augustus will attend.
