Members of the Atlanta Falcons celebrated securing the No. 1 seed in the NFC and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs by dumping Gatorade on team owner Arthur Blank.

Yeah, that's a bold move -- and one dependent on the hope he has another suit. Considering his Home Depot fortune, it's probably a safe bet.

Blank, whose hire of head coach Mike Smith and selection of quarterback Matt Ryan in the 2008 NFL draft have made him look like a genius, is no stranger in-game sideline appearances.

Icy cold baths, on the other hand, are new to him.

Bears fans probably shouldn't expect the same kind of treatment to be afforded to Viriginia McCaskey should the Bears win a playoff game at Soldier Field.

For real, we think

After his Minnesota Vikings fell to the Detroit Lions, Brett Favre yet again said that he's played his last NFL game.

This time, we're inclined to believe him.

Favre's comeback season featured injuries, the end of his NFL-record consecutive games streak and the Jenn Sterger circus.

Still, the 20-year veteran stood by his decision to return to the game he loves.

"I know it's time, and that's OK. It is," he said. "Again, I hold no regrets, and I can't think of too many players offhand that can walk away and say that. Individually and from a team standpoint, it was way more than I ever dreamed of."

Technical difficulties
ESPN play-by-play announcer Ron Franklin was reportedly stripped of his Fiesta Bowl assignment after allegedly calling sideline reporter Jeannine Edwards "sweetcakes" and "a------" during a production meeting.

What have you done for me lately?
Fans of the defending back-to-back world champion Los Angeles Lakers showered the hometown team with boos after last night's 104-85 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Queen of all media

Reality television person Kim Kardashian is diving into a music career because, well, why not?

The athlete enthusiast tweeted some pictures from her video's shoot for us to look at.

And finally ...
This 110-year-old man has more game than you
