eva-longoria.jpgThe most famous couple in San Antonio is no more.

Eva Longoria filed papers in Los Angeles Wednesday to end her three-year marriage to San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker.

The New York Post is reporting that the "Desperate Housewives" star discovered her man had been texting Erin Barry, the estranged wife of former Spur Brent Barry.

"There's no physical relationship between Tony and Erin," the source said. "There was texting that went on for a while and probably crossed the line. Eva found out by looking at his phone."
Parker was able to focus enough last night to score 21 points and dish out seven assists in a win against the Bulls ...

Tiger talk

Thumbnail image for tiger-woods-photo.jpgIn a first-person essay posted over at Newsweek, Tiger Woods talks about finding balance in his life after his Thanksgiving Day car crash and subsequent lady problems became Page One news this past year.

The summation: "I made terrible choices and repeated mistakes."

Oh, and he joined Twitter.

Of course he did.

"What's up everyone. Finally decided to try out twitter," his first what-is-this-new-fangled-thing-laced effort reads.

"Yep, it's me. I think I like this twitter thing. You guys are awesome. Thanks for all the love," his next, more confident tweet proclaimed.

Another setback
For the third time in four years, former top overall pick Greg Oden will have his season cut short due to an injury.

Since being selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2007 draft, the big man has played in just 82 games. Due to his woes, he was not offered a contract extension.

Kind of makes the whole Kevin Durant vs. Oden debate seem ridiculous in retrospect, no?

Love pool

In new relationship news, the word on the street is that Michael Phelps and Brittny Gastineau have been getting cozy.

He's a 14-time medalist at the Olympics.

She's a former reality television person, the daughter of former New York Jets star Mark Gastineau and could use more vowels in her first name.

They are, in short, a perfect match.

Beef with Kobe

Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Kimmel star in a commercial for "Call of Duty: Black Ops."

Skip Bayless is not pleased with this development at all.

And finally ...
Customer gets a receipt from Burger King with "F--- you" printed on it. General overreaction ensues.
