The upside of a New Jersey Nets game? Free tax preparation

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
nets-taxes.jpgFor fellow procrastinators, just a friendly reminder that taxes are due in a little over a month. For New Jersey-based readers, just a heads up that you could have someone do your state return for free.

The only catch is that you have to attend a Nets game, raising the age-old question of how much you're willing to sacrifice in the name of a bigger rebate.

Hey, a 6-53 team should be trying every trick in the book to put some butts in the seats.

All fans attending the woeful team's Friday home game against the Orlando Magic will receive coupons that they can redeem at a Roni Deutch Tax Center in order to capitalize.

If sitting through a game seems too tough, a similar coupon is available online.
