Allen Iverson will not return to the Philadelphia 76ers this season, a source tells the Philadelphia Inquirer. An official announcement is expected in the next few days.

Iverson hasn't played since a Feb. 20 game against the Bulls, after which he left to be with his sick four-year-old daughter.

The 34-year-old veteran signed a one-year deal with his longtime team in December. In 25 games with the Sixers, he's averaging 13.9 points and 4.1 assists.
