New York Giants to host first real game at New Meadowlands Stadium

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks
The New York Giants have the honor of hosting the first regular-season game at the New Meadowlands Stadium after winning a coin toss with the New York Jets, according to the New York Daily News.

Jets owner Woody Johnson is apparently livid that no team official was present for this ever-so-important flip of fate.

If it's any consolation, he just picked up LaDainian Tomlinson.

The Jets will presumably host a game the second week of the season and both teams will play there in the preseason, including a game against each other.

The Giants will have to christen the 1st game of new meadowlands with a loss, then the Jets will come in and have the first win of the year there.
