joe-nathan-injury.JPGMinnesota Twins fans are having a side of bad news with their morning coffee today, as closer Joe Nathan has been diagnosed with a torn ulner collateral ligament in his throwing elbow.

The 35-year-old reliever will decide if he'll have surgery within two weeks. That procedure would likely keep him out for the entire season.

Nathan has notched at least 36 saves in the past six seasons.
