LaDainian Tomlinson to meet with Minnesota Vikings

ladanian-tomlinson.JPGRunning back LaDainian Tomlinson will visit the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, according to a report from SI.com.

Tomlinson, who spent nine very productive years with the San Diego Chargers before being released last month, would be a capable replacement for Chester Taylor, who signed with with the Bears last Friday.

This is the first team LT has visited with. The Vikings could find his ability to hold on to the football attractive. In 2,541 carries, Tomlinson has lost only seven fumbles. Compare that with the six lost by Vikings incumbent running back Adrian Peterson on 314 carries last season.
