vin-scully.jpgHall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully was hospitalized after a fall Thursday, but is scheduled to be released and travel to the Dodgers' spring-training facility Glendale, Ariz. today.

The 82-year-old legend, who has been calling games for the Dodgers, since 1950, apparently got out of bed too quickly, causing the fall. A team spokesman said the overnight hospitalization was precautionary.

Scully was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982.
