You can no longer follow Gilbert Arenas on Twitter

The old saying tells us all good things have to come to an end.

File Gilbert Arenas' Twitter account into that category.

The Washington Wizards guard, who was suspended indefinitely without pay by the NBA yesterday, has deleted the 140-character window into his soul.

That's right, @gilbertarenas is no more.

You'll recall that Arenas maintained a very jocular demeanor on his page as the investigation into his Dec. 24 confrontation with Javaris Crittenton played out. Many think his somewhat glib nature contributed to NBA commissioner David Stern's decision to send him away from the game.
