gilbert-arenas-gun.jpgWashington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton spent a portion of their Christmas Eve night drawing guns on each other over a gambling debt, according to a report from the New York Post.

An anonymous source says Crittenton became angry at Arenas for refusing to make good on a debt. Naturally, this caused Arenas to draw his weapon on Crittenton, who also reached for a gun.

Arenas denied ever pulling a gun, but the team announced on Dec. 24 that the star guard had stored unloaded firearms in his locker room.

Wizards General Manager Ernie Grunfeld declined to comment. "It's in the hands of [Washington] authorities," said Grunfeld, a former star Knicks player and president. "We're going to get to the bottom of this, if there is a bottom to this."

You'll remember that the Washington franchise changed its name from the Bullets in 1997.
