Milton Bradley, who was jettisoned out of town last month after one very disappointing season with the Cubs, is being sued by his landlord for $44,100 in back rent, late fees and interest.

Our bulldog reporter Lisa Donovan has the story:

Bradley apparently signed a lease for a posh 24th-floor Park Hyatt condo on the Magnificent Mile at the beginning of the season, but walked out on his $15,000-a-month lease in the fall.

Bradley was sent a letter demanding the owed money, but has yet to cut a check.

The amount of money sought is just over the per-game amount the right fielder was paid by the Cubs last season.

During his tenure here, Bradley said that writers, fans and even waiters didn't like him.

Guess you can add landlords to that list.
