If we are to believe the Scene in the Tropics blog over at the Miami Herald (and what kind of world would it be if we can't), then Alex Rodriguez has rebounded from his split with actress Kate Hudson quite nicely.

The sleuths down there -- probably because they aren't so busy trudging through snow and mush -- say the New York Yankees slugger has been spotted with 25-year-old Elaine Spottswood on his arm.

Spottswood is apparently a member of a prominent Key West family that has dealings in real estate, timesharing, marinas, hospitality, broadcasting and banking.
