This is our first bobsled-related post. I don't even have to look that one up to verify.The video of British bobsled rider Gillian Cooke splitting her pants at this week's World Championships in Switzerland is sweeping the world.
And why wouldn't it?
It's just so perfectly low-brow. So perfectly plucked from an episode of "America's Funniest Home Videos." And pretty darn funny.
Just before shoving off, Cooke is vigorously thrusting back and forth when her skin-tight suit erupts open right down the middle of her backside. She doesn't seem to notice, and she takes off with teammate Nicola Minichiello.
The duo was able to pilot their sleigh to a seventh-place finish and are expected at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next month.
Hope she's ready to talk about it by then.
