Green Bay Packers cornerback Charles Woodson was awarded Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors this morning for his tremendous 2009 season.
The versatile Woodson tied for a league-high nine interceptions and spearheaded a Packers defensive unit that ranked second in overall defense.
Woodson received 28 votes to double that of his closest competition, New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.
