Barack Obama calls Texas coach Mack Brown, disappointed by McCoy-less BCS title game

The bad news for Texas Longhorns coach Mack Brown?

His team lost the BCS title game to Alabama Thursday night.

The good news?

He got to talk to President Barack Obama.

Like the rest of us, the president was apparently disappointed that Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was able to play. He told Brown as much during a phone call today.

He's a real man of the people, after all.

Obama congratulated Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban on Friday.
