Rex Grossman, who became one of Chicago's most polarizing sports figures during his six-year tenure as a quarterback for the Chicago Bears, may have a new home.
Grossman is visiting with the Houston Texans Thursday night, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, expects the former University of Florida standout will sign a one-year deal, according to ESPN senior NFL writer John Clayton.

From ESPN.com:
Last month, Rosenhaus squashed internet rumors that Grossman would be working out for a United Football League team, telling Sports Pros(e), "Rex will be playing in the NFL this season. We have not considered any other leagues. He will be on a NFL roster by the start of training camps."
Grossman quarterbacked the Bears to a Super Bowl appearance in 2006, but lost his starting job to Kyle Orton.
The Texans are looking for a quarterback to backup Matt Schaub after Sage Rosenfels was traded to the Minnesota Vikings.
"Grossman is expected to take a physical and then discuss a one-year contract with the Texans. He has been an unrestricted free agent but hasn't made any known visits prior to this."
