Sports Pros(e) Playoff Beard Update: What do we do if the Blackhawks play the Red Wings?

red-wings-blackhawks.jpgThe Blackhawks skated on to their first Western Conference finals since 1995 on the strength of Patrick Kane's hat trick in Game 6 against the Vancover Canucks.

The Detroit Red Wings play the Anaheim Ducks in a decisive Game 7 tomorrow night for the opportunity to take on the Hawks and earn a berth in the Stanley Cup finals.

If that weren't exciting enough, we decided that if our two teams square off, some sort of side bet is in order. As is the the case with all wagers, the more embarrassing the stakes the better.

I say bring on the Red Wings. I dont care that their the defending Cup champions. The Blackhawks are a team best equipped to derail their chances of returning to the finals. Right now while the Hawks rest, the Red Wings are still trying to put away the Ducks. Game 7 should be interesting. As long as the Hawks keep playing to the ability they have all season and in the playoffs, it wouldnt matter who they face. I would rather see them face Detroit, they have not been playing very good hockey as of late. I thought they had a strangle hold on that series against the Ducks, but now its win or go home for them....
