Exodus Tyson, the 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson, died Tuesday
after she was taken off life support. The young girl was found hanging from a treadmill cable by her 7-year-old brother Monday and rushed to a Phoenix-area hospital.
"There are no words to describe the tragic loss
of our beloved Exodus," the family said in a statement. "We ask you now
to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to
grieve and try to help each other heal."
This is another sad turn of events for the 42-year-old former heavyweight champion, who has seen his share of heartache -- some of them self-inflicted -- in his lifetime.

"The Tyson family would like to extend our
deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and
we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time," the
boxer said in a statement.
