Video: Reed Johnson robs Prince Fielder of grand slam

It didn't take Reed Johnson long to top last year's diving grab -- arguably the catch of the year -- against the Washington  Nationals.
Sunday night in Milwaukee, Johnson, who came in for an injured Milton Bradley in right field, robbed Brewers left-handed slugger Prince Fielder of a potential game-tying grand slam in the fifth inning. The Cubs went on to win 8-5.

''I've never robbed a homer before,'' Johnson told reporters. ''I told him (Fielder) at first the next inning, 'I know you don't want to hear this, but that's the first time I've ever done that.'''

With his gritty play and no-nonsense approach to the game, Johnson is no doubt a fan favorite in Chicago. Depending how long Bradley (right groin strain) is out, fans might get a chance to see him a lot more.

If he keeps coming up with big plays, that should work out just fine for the Cubs.

This is amazing catch #2 during R. Johnson's Cub tenure.

I hope M. Bradley is okay!!

That catch was so amazing. It was better than any Jim Edmonds catches ever!

Even as a Brewer fan, I have to tip my hat to him. What a catch...although if Prince Fielder wasn't a vegetarian that ball would have been out of reach
