It saddens me to see the once glorious Michael Jordan in this picture, without his wife (whom he cheated on so it was his own fault for the divorce) and without his kids, but instead with some 30-year old with a checkered family past who might just be in it for the money.

MJ alwasy dressed with class and style off the court during his press conferences, but I'm not sure what he is trying to pull off here with the grandpa jeans and the green blazer. Style was definitely not with him the night this picture was taken. And he looks fat too now.

It's too bad MJ didn't get a front office job with the Bulls after retirement either, but instead went to the Wizards and now the Bobcats.

I know some of what I wrote shouldn't matter, and it's his life, but when you worship someone for so long as I did with MJ and hold him in high regard, praying everynight to posters of him in beautiful Chicago Bulls red soaring through the air like some kind of God, it's difficult to see him like this. It amazes me how the "younger generation" either doesn't know or doesn't care, or doesn't care to know about history. Not too long ago, a blackman would have been hung and burned, tar-n-feathered, and or castrated for looking at a white woman. In 1955, a 14 year old black boy by the name of Emmitt Till was beaten and killed by a gang of whites because he allegedly winked at a white woman. Black men have been thrown in jail because white women have stated that they were "raped" by a black man when it wasn't true. Given all of this abhorrent history and the way our people have been treated, I don't understand why so many black athletes and affluent people of color so quickly run to scoop-up a white woman or white man. Don't get me wrong, there are fine white women as there are fine black women, but obviously, there is something wrong with us when too many of us do what we do. And for those who will say, "ah..that's history...your history has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR PRESENT STATE. Kobe, Jordan, J.Kidd, Charles Barkley (of all people) and many more don't understand that if they were regular joes, these same white women wouldn't give them a second thought. That's why I respect kats like Denzel, Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, LaBron, Carmelo...They have an affinity for their own. Jordan has ALWAYS been selfish.
