Toronto Raptors fire coach Sam Mitchell

The Toronto Raptors have fired coach Sam Mitchell.

Mitchell was in his fifth season with the club and had compiled a record of 156-189. He won the NBA Coach of the Year Award for the NBA 2006-2007season.
