Former NFL star and Michigan State Spartan Andre Rison was arrested for public drunkenness early Monday morning in San Antonio.

Between Plaxico Burress, Rison and Charles Rogers, MSU wide receivers are really dropping the ball lately."Rison, who was selected for the Pro Bowl five times in the 1990s, was detained after police responded to a call about a public disturbance at 2 a.m. Monday, KENS-TV, San Antonio, reported. He was at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk.
He paid a fine and was released at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Rison has been arrested several times for failure to pay child support and spent about three weeks in jail in December 2004.
