IndianaÕs Jones injured against Cornell
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) Ñ Indiana freshman guard Verdell Jones III was taken off the court on a stretcher with an injury in SundayÕs basketball game against Cornell. The nature of the injury wasnÕt immediately known. JonesÕ head appeared to strike the shoulder of Cornell center Jeff Foote on a hard pick near midcourt during the first half.
