Sundance Film Festival fashion roundup: Let me know what you think!

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Every year at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, instead of tiny sequin dresses and suits we normally see on red carpets, we get turtlenecks, stocking caps, fur-trimmed coats and coffee cups as an accessory.

And the scarves. Oh, the scarves. That seems to be the accessory of choice at Sundance this year. And despite the casual looks, I'm guessing celebs still have their stylists plan their outfits down to every last knit accessory.

So here's a roundup of the bundled up celebrities this past week at Sundance.

As always, let me know who you like and who you don't!

These photos crack me up a bit. But I guess you gotta love a guy who knows how to work an accessory. LEFT: Wilmer Valderrama from the film "The Dry Land" poses for a portrait Sunday. RIGHT: Diego Luna, at Sundance with the film he directed "Abel," poses Tuesday. Who's got the better toss? My vote goes to Diego. For pretty much anything. Carlo Allegri~AP

Fun with fake laughing!: Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling, from the film "Blue Valentine," have a "good time" in their winter coats during a portrait Monday. Carlo Allegri~AP

"Runaways" stars Kristen Stewart (left) and Dakota Fanning are a pair of angry cuddlers during a portrait Sunday. Carlo Allegri~AP

Katie Holmes goes for a basic (boring?) denim shirt and pea coat look at the screening of her film "The Romantics" Wednesday. Peter Kramer~AP

MATCHY MATCHY: Sir Elton John and husband David Furnish went with a similar color scheme for their plaid scarves at the screening for "Nowhere Boy" Wednesday. Peter Kramer~AP

Seriously cute musician John Legend poses for a portrait Saturday. Some guys just look better in stocking caps than others. Carlo Allegri~AP

Love seeing Louis C.K. try to fit at Sundance with a cute plaid scarf. Here's my favorite comedian at the screening of his film "Louis C.K.:Hilarious" Tuesday. Chris Pizzello~AP

This might be what you'd call "knit overkill": Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel at the premiere of "The Romantics" Wednesday. Peter Kramer~AP

Mark Ruffalo, at Sundance with his directorial debut "Sympathy for Deli," poses with a fan Monday. Chris Pizzello~AP

Kerry Washington, in a coat I'd like to steal from her, poses for a rooftop portrait Monday. She was at Sundance promoting her film "Mother & Child." Chris Pizzello~AP

Adrien Grenier, director of the documentary "Teenage Paparazzo," poses for a portrait Sunday. It's sweet his grandmother knitted him a scarf for his big weekend. Carlo Allegri~AP
