Fashion Focus Chicago: A roundup of this weekend's events

Chicago's answer to New York Fashion Week is back, but it's a little more compact this year.

While last year's Fashion Focus Chicago event was sprawled out over a week, this year everything's happening in one action-packed weekend.

Here's a quick rundown of the four major fashion shows. (But there are plenty of other events, including shopping parties and free seminars. Go to Chicagofashionresource.com).

TONIGHT: MACY'S PRESENTS THE DESIGNERS OF CHICAGO
7:30 p.m. at Millennium Park, Chase Promenade North, 201 E. Randolph
See what Chicago's fashion designers have to offer. This show highlights the spring collections of local designers. Designs will be available this spring at Macy's.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23: DRESS CODE

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24: GEN ART'S FRESH FACES IN FASHION
