Going-out-of-business sale: Inexpensive Sarah Jessica Parker line just got cheaper

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

We feel sad when businesses have to close -- but we love the going-out-of-business sales!

Steve & Barry's - the discount chain store that offers fashion from designers such as Sarah Jessica Parker at extremely low prices -- was purchased out of bankruptcy, and a new company will run the chain on a smaller scale. This means 5 of the 12 stores in the Chicago area are closing within the next few months. And this also means closing sales! (Right now, everything is already marked down to $8.99 at most of the stores, but the stores that are closing may be marking down items to as low as $5.99.) The following Steve & Barry's stores will be shutting down:

Crossroads Shopping Center in Highland Park
Northland Plaza in Dekalb
Woodfield Commons in Schaumburg
Yorktown Center in Lombard
Randhurst Mall in Mt. Prospect (store closing as a result of the mall closing)

Happy sale shopping!
