Beauty Sample Sale

You've heard of designer sample sales -- now comes the city's first sample sale for beauty products.
On Oct. 24, prettycity.com hosts the event at the Chicago Illuminating Company, 19 E. 21st.
The event will include:
- A "beauty in balance" pavilion sponsored by Shape magazine, where attendees can sample beauty treats from Revlon, Aquafina Beauty and other brands
- A pampering pavilion where several of Chicago’s top spas and salons will be offering complimentary services such as free eyelash extenstions
- Deluxe goody bags with full-sized products
Tickets are $25 at www.thebeautysamplesale.com. The event will sell out in advance -- no tickets will be available at the door.
