Week in WTF?!

By which we mean, of course, "Wow, that's fascinating!" Because during the last few days -- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday -- what tom-foolery has taken place out on the Interwebs. Here's a look at the things that have caused us to say, "Whee! That's funny!"

Coo-Coo for Sponge Bob

Watch as these kids go absolutely bonkers over a Sponge Bob straw. I wish I could muster up half this much enthusiasm for anything in life.

Ricky Gervais' secret past as an '80's pop star

How is this only surfacing now? Am I the last one to find this out? Does this mean David Bowie has just been Gervais in disguise punking us this whole time? So many questions! My mind has officially been blown.

So if you are what you eat...

Then this woman will probably turn into a couch any day now. The show says she is addicted to eating couch cushions and has eaten seven couches and two chairs in her lifetime. Seven couches!? This makes my addiction to bacon suddenly seem healthy.

Terrified of pickles and mustard

So while one woman eats couches, this woman runs away from mustard. While you can't help but wonder what caused these women to have these fears, what I really want to know is how long it took them to squeeze all that mustard onto that plate.

Finally!!!

You have no idea how long I have been wanting to make a Rahm/Ramen pun headline. Whoever made this Rahmen Emanuel website is my personal hero.

Sarah Palin: She's going south to hunt some stuff

Remember the first time you saw the movie "Blair Witch?" Yea, this is ten times scarier than that.

Little Eden tackles a new genre

Sharon Osbourne may not be amused, but we are!

The 'Talent' portion of the contest

Look at what Little Eden has to look forward to! If she can keep up a life of pageantry perhaps she too can one day yodel a ventriloquist act on national television. Shoot for the stars, Little Eden.

Alcoholic giant puppet roams Ireland

Well this isn't stereotypical at all.

Hang in there, kitty

Throwing cats into space is just cruel. Funny. But cruel. I'm telling PETA.

Remember those Tea Partiers singing about Sarah Palin? Remember how it was scarier than the movie "Blair Witch?" Yea, this is even ten times scarier than that. Selena, if you're reading this, lock the door and maybe don't come out for awhile.

She's got a basketball jones

You may have already seen Happiness' original dance audition tape. Photoshop some basketballs into the video though and it's hard to believe they were never really there in the first place. Apparently this was Happiness' first public performance. Maybe she should have just kept it in the bedroom.

Something to be proud of

Speaking of keeping it in the bedroom, this guy attempts to break the world record for the most quarters in his belly button much to the delight of what I can only assume are his frat buddies. Congratulations, guy.

Real life superhero

Phoenix Jones is a self-proclaimed superhero that has been going around fighting crime in Seattle. That is up until this weekend when he apparently had his nose broken while trying to break up a fight. Comic book over.

Nothin' comes out when they move their lips;

Just a bunch of gibberish. This guy makes baffling people a professional sport. But then again, so does chocolate juggling umbrella pancakes.

paula.jpg Easy, peasy

Paula Deen's "recipe" for English Peas has attracted quite the response on the Food Network's website. I'm not sure what the big deal is though, I thought the recipe was so good I doubled it!

Popcorn with a side of accidental eye damage

Yea, yea, that's great can you hurry it up though, my movie starts in five minutes and I'd like a large bucket with extra butter. Oh, and a box of Sno-Caps, thanks.

Back to the Future, Part IV
Tom Selleck makes amazingly accurate predictions for the future in this 1993 commercial. I wonder if he could have predicted rise and fall in popularity of 'staches such as his own.

Judith Marsh vs. the male race
"Slow down, cowgirl! You're not a man." This quote is all you need to know to understand why this is the greatest, worst commercial of all time.

The new Trololo
She's no Eduard Khil, but I suppose she'll have to do.

Ready? Set? Gooo!
On this episode, Remi tries to out-run the police using banana peels and a lot of guts. Hope he saves Princess Peach from the evil Bowser.

Dating advice from the Vice President
While watching Biden spread the anti-dating message to one young mind after the other, I can't help but wonder -- is this all part of his evil plan for global domination?

It's well-documented that Kanye West provides some of the best content that Twitter has to offer.

Now, when you add the music of Josh Groban, like Jimmy Kimmel Live did, well, Kanye's tweets get even better.
