Barbara Scharres is the director of programming for the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has attended countless film festivals, has written from Cannes for the Sun-Times, and has reviewed for the Chicago Reader, the Sun-Times and many film magazines.
