This video makes my big toe shoot up in my boot! Thanks for posting.
Smokes the album version, too.
P.S. Total non sequitur: I'm a longtime reader, and share your love of Barry Lyndon.
I'm reminded of George Carlin's advice from so long ago: "Make f***, not kill."
I appreciate all these absurd Tea Parties if only for every time it leads to a news personality saying "teabagging" on air. I can only hope people will protest tax day next year by hosting Sausage Parties instead. Or maybe they can vent their anger at tax and spend Democrats by symbolically punching a stuffed...
Oh, I just can't bring myself to make that joke here.
JE: Taxation with representation is teabaggery! In an effort to protest all the massive government growth of the Reagan and Bush administrations (government only got smaller under Clinton), Republicans will next be organizing a nationwide network of Shrimping Parties.
Great stuff.
Non sequitur 2: One of my favourite lines from "Arrested Development," courtesy of Tobias Fünke: "Oh, come on. Don't leave your uncle T-bag hanging."
I like to extend my pinkie fingers when hurling crates of tea into a harbor. Everyone calls me elitist for it but I don't care, it just feels right.
On a serious note, I had no idea I was missing out on James Brown until just now. Thanks for posting this!
I thought you were a bit more savvy than this. Tea Parties aren't Republican joints, kids. I stopped by our local, and found no love for any party there. When reality doesn't fit your preconceptions, what do you do?
JE: Answer: Watch Fox News?
I did not attend a Tea party, but I understand what they were really about and its not just taxes. It's the absurdity of saying that Bush's 1 trillon defict somehow justifies Obama's multiplying that number by three! Both the Republicans and Democrats are driving the economy off a cliff, the only difference is that the Repubs ocasionaly tap the brakes. The Dems are stomping the gas pedal and yelling "Yeeee Haaaa!!!!"
