I'm off this week, though I may post a few short items if I get the opportunity. Meanwhile, do you have some thanks to offer the Governor of Alaska?

Thanks Jim, that just made me die a little inside.
I'm thankful that she helped Obama win. Not to say that he couldn't have done it on his own, but every little but helps....
Hahaha. Thanks, Jim!
I'm thankful black, gay cowboys make up such a small proportion of the voting population. Otherwise, Palin would be VP-elect right now.
This is a joke, right?
Right?
RIGHT?!
Why doesn't she just die already? I feel like there's some big pay-for-play conspiracy that's trying to make us think she's popular. The way record companies create the illusion that bad musicians have fans.
"Sarah Palin Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin Sarah Palin Sarah Palin. Did we mention Sarah Palin? Let's keep saying it. Sarah Palin Sarah Palin. Real people think she's legitimate. Contrary to popular belief, she is an acceptable choice of candidate. No, scratch that. Popular belief says that she's an acceptable choice of candidate. Nobody questions her legitimacy. How dare you question what we've paid to make you think!"
Let her just die already. No, I have a better idea. Make her the new figurehead of the republican party. Make the republican voters have a crisis of confidence. But don't lie to our faces. Tell the truth. She's wildly unpopular.
As usual, it falls somewhere between humorous absurdity, and contempt for the clowns who buy into that dingbat.
You've got to admit, though, it's pretty impressive that they were able to get every Sarah Palin supporter together at once.
Let's face it, you've been off the past couple months.
What's the name of the retirement home this video was advertizing?
Yes, yes, you know what I hate about Palin is the way she represents everything good about America.
Shh, quiet, please, I hate the fact she's the Ron Reagan of Our world.
Seriously, I hope to God this'll be the Republican candidate in 2012, 2016, 2020, just until The Whig party draws even with them. Then I'll consider her life something less than a waste.
Frightening.
I appreciate the single obligatory black man they through in.
If you showed me the first five seconds and made me bet money on where it would go, I would have told you it was a sarcastic "thanks for getting Obama elected" video.
Seems a little unintentionally condescending to me; can you imagine a warm, fuzzy video thanking McCain (or Bush, or any other non-cute, non-female candidate) for his "grace?" Still, I've got to praise this for being the first right-wing-oriented video with comedy that didn't make me cringe or vomit. I wouldn't have bet on that either!
I'm an Alaskan. I'm not thankful to my governor that I can no longer get away with telling people while traveling abroad that I'm from Alaska. Though post-election, at least it's not so bad anymore telling people I'm from America.
Re: this add, I've only got one thing to say:
Ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Ha.
(In the words of Shakespeare, “I have not another tear to shed.”)
What a shame that all you people are so threatened by a woman who managed to accomplish as much as she has.
There's plenty to make fun of, but there's plenty to make fun of when it comes to Joe Biden as well. Where's the video of all of the gaffes he's made?
For a blog that manages to show such empathy and compassion for what isn't real -- characters on a movie screen -- you are all disgustingly condescending and just plain nasty to someone who is real -- and had the guts to stick by her beliefs and go through with having a Down Syndrome child.
