I just found this, which seems to bring together some of the best elements of my life in perfect harmony. I miss my girl.

Bloody animals...you love them like people (insert soilent green style 'animals....is ...people' call), but you know they are going to die before you and cause a ridiculous maladious funk to occur. Then again that would never be a reason not to have a pet would it? ah the human condition....
The skilled counter-intelligence operative can detect several truths in the photo. Other than Zanussi, I find no fault in your taste, except that you hang movie posters. I make movies and I don't even do that. My wife had a Reservoir Dogs poster up in her basement apartment when we were dating. I ... house-broke(pardon the pun) her on that before she moved into my place. I have accumulated movie posters from when I worked at video stores in my youth. They're all rolled up in cardboard tubes all over the house. Some good (JFK), some bad (Waterworld - I actually like that movie ... hmm).
You have a lava lamp, which tells me you smoke the marijuana. You have a small statue of the Space Needle, which tells me you have enjoyed the odd episode of Frasier over the years. The sofa tells me you enjoy irony (which is confirmed with the Altman poster). I'm gonna hazard a guess and say the Fellini poster was a gift (something you'd never buy for yourself, or perhaps somebody was throwing it out and you went dumpster-diving.
You have one of those circular-cushion chairs. Again, my wife had one (she got it from Pottery Barn when she was in college). I ... corrected her, if I may be so bold, sir. No circular chairs are permitted in my household, neither are fanny-packs, rock musicians, and people who don't enjoy Lost (it's good storytelling, I don't care what anybody says).
I didn't think it could be possible, but I miss Frances too.
Take care.
I remember that last pic going up last year some time. I remember you were worried about her and couldn't sleep. I remember that because of how much my furry companions have meant to me. And because it's a great photo. I know you're probably the one who took the picture but it looks like she's looking for you, waiting for you to return home.
The second pic isn't from 'No Country For Old Men', is it?
The first pic shows Frances was a champion napper, a skill I value highly. Good dog.
This just breaks my heart. Having lost two animals myself recently (my oldest cat and only dog within a week of each other) I can only offer my most sincere condolences. I'm still not entirely over the loss myself, as reading all the comments on your previous post about Frances made me sob.
Good luck, Jim.
This is crying out for an loldog-style caption. I suggest... "I iz exhossted by yor DVD collekshun. Citizen Kane wuz delishus, btw."
Condolences on the loss of your good friend.
Great pic, and I understand. After two years I still mourn my late cat, and she didn't even have a cool name.
Sounds as though you and I are going through similar grieving processes. Great pics.
