Slate says it has a copy here. One page, easy to read in a couple minutes, and pretty darned comprehensive. Including: "This is the entire agreement between the Participant and the Producer or anyone else in relation to the Film, and the Participant acknowledges that in entering into it, the Participant is not relying on any promises or statements made by anyone else about the nature of the Film or the identity of any other Participants or persons involved in the Film."

Honestly you don't have to read beyond the first paragraph to understand what you're getting into "the Producer hopes to reach a young adult audience by using entertaining content and formats." What do the people who sign the contract think they are getting themselves into?
It does explain a lot though about the people in the film who react tepidly to Borat, allowing him the benefit of the doubt with whatever he says or does... almost humoring what he's saying rather than reacting to it. The smart ones know what they are involved in from the get go.
It's a shame that all of this is being released to the public; the continued demystification of film. I suppose it puts some people at ease.
Is there any way Michael Richards can sue Borat for making him look like a racist?
However! Even a bulletproof contract can be void if one of the signees was "impaired" at the time of the agreement.
The guy *might* have a beef if he can prove the producers got him drunk to sign the release.
Of course if your Myspace page has a bunch of pictures of you in an apparently frequently "impaired" state - well - I Am Not A Lawyer. Only a potential juror!
