Former Kelly assistant Lindsey Perryman testified this afternoon that she first met the girl allegedly shown in the sex video in 1999 at a Chicago recording studio. The girl showed up at the studio with her parents and little brother -- and "had a pillow and overnight bag with her," Perryman said.
Perryman, who worked on and off for Kelly from 1999 to 2006, said the girl in the videotape is the same girl prosecutor claim it is. She also identified the man in the sex tape as Kelly.
Dressed in a conservative gray business suit, her face framed by long blonde hair, Perryman described how the alleged victim would come to Kelly's studio "a couple of times a week... She would come there after school to do her homework."
Perryman would also sometimes be called upon to act as chauffeur for the girl, whom Kelly called his goddaughter. "I would just get a phone call to picker her up. There was a time when I took her out to Mr. Kelly's home in Olympia Fields."
Wow! R Kelly was weaving his ugly spell beginning at his recording studio AND gradually moving on to his home in Olympia Fields! How horrible for that young girl to have been "groomed" by R. Kelly for his selfish pleasures. Evil man.
Why was she bringing a over night bag in the first place? Why did her parents drop her off to stay the night with him? If R-Kelly is found guilty her parents should also go to jail for child endangerment. If this girl was fifteen at the time that all of this was going on then why did it take almost a decade for someone to say something? Are the parents going to testify? Is the girl? If not then they should drop the case and let it go. I was 16 (nine) years ago and I knew what I should have been doing and shouldn't have been doing and my mother knew as well. Not only that, the woman who claims she had a threesome with Kelly and the girl committed a crime as well, but she can get away with it because she is admitting to it. Thats not right. I have very strong feelings about this case and a lot of things just don't make sense or add up in my eyes. I wish I could testify, I would put the Atlanta girl and Sparkle on blast. It's one thing to try and do the right thing its another thing to do it because of spite or revenge. You can't say that Sparkle didn't know what was going on if something was going on. It didn't matter when she was making videos and selling records, but now she is so hurt and how could he have done this. I guess it was ok when you were making money and now its taboo. I am not saying I agree with sleeping with teenage girls but if the family is letting it go on, then everyone should be on trial not just the famous singer with money!
