Adding fuel to the argument that the R&B superstar views his current legal battle in part as one more opportunity to hype his new music, Kelly has leaked a second song from "12 Play: Fourth Quarter," scheduled for release in July. The title, appropriately enough: "Freak Show."
The song is a pumping club jam sparse on vocals and heavy on the undulating sex groove, playing as sort of a sequel to or extension of Usher's current smash, "Love in This Club."
"Let me see a freak show in the club/Take it on down, let it hit the floor... Go on and get that money, babe/And now bend that over, babe... You know what it is/It's a freak show."
At least Kelly is confining his lust to the dance floor this time around; better there than in the barbershop or salon portrayed in "Hairbraider," the first leaked track from the forthcoming disc. The most memorable linea in that tune:
"Hairbraider, huh, I'm doin my hairbraider/And she do my hair so good that I'm gonna tip her/The way she strip for me, I gotta tip her."
