Rezko trial: The Ugly Truth
When witness Tom Rosenberg talks about "the ugly truth" at Tony Rezko's corruption trial, you would think he's talking about the merits of the case.
Nah. Minutes into Rosenberg's testimony, he went ahead and gave his newest movie a plug,
telling jurors: "The Ugly Truth," stars Katherine Heigl.
Rosenberg, described as the largest independent producer in Hollywood, has a little bit of a different background than what we're used to in this trial. He won an Oscar for Best Picture for producing Million Dollar Baby and produced 52 films.
The suntanned Rosenberg may also be the first male witness to take the stand and not wear a tie.

Never mind about that. Evelyn Pringle (see her series on Rezko at opednews) is about to directly link Obama to Rezko crimes. End of Obama soon.

Evelyn Pringle has done a dynamic job - and so have the Sun Times reporters. Thank you to the reporters and journalists who actually care enough about this country to do their jobs - even when you're the odd person out doing so.

It is a pleasure to know honest people of integrity such as Tom Rosenberg are finally standing up. It certainly took him long enough. He never seemed to mind clout, contributions and doing favors for the "right" people back when he was one of Jane Byrne's favorite real estate developers. Also, he didn't mind using Mike Segal's illicitly-earned insurance company clout to obtain the difficult-to-get completion bonds that without which, as an unknown producer commodity, he would have been unable to build his highly successful movie career. And, that is THE UGLY TRUTH! Oh, cry me a river Mr. Rosenberg.

I don't care if satan himself was blowing the whistle... scoop as many of these crooks out of power as fast as we can. Blago and Ryan can star in a buddy movie about two ex goveners serving time together for corrption sharing a 5 x 5 cell... HILARITY ENSUES.. Rosenburg gets another Oscar... and proceeds go to end the TOLL ROADS ...... (i can dream)

Midwestvaluz; good job I had no idea about Mr.Rosenberg, there should be a blog spot we could all go to, to get information on the people testifying. I was starting to think he might be the first stand up guy involved in this case, I'm glad you could clear things up. This is why he got immunity. Anyway, it just goes to show when you play in the gutter your going to get dirty.
