Doctor tries to dodge photographers after Rezko trial testimony
Dr. Imad Almanaseer tried to look poised walking out of the federal courthouse this afternoon after testifying against Tony Rezko.
The tall doctor, who heads Pathology at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, was dressed in a sleek, long, dark coat. Once he stepped outside, newspaper photographers started running after him to get his picture.
Almanaseer turned around and stepped back inside the building, and started walking in the opposite direction, attempting to go unnoticed. He tried to look composed, but he kept quickening his pace, looking out of the corner of his eye through the glass windows. On the other side, the photographers changed directions ran after him. He tried to lose them by slipping out the building's southern exit.
In the end, he couldn't escape.
