Blagojevich on Levine: "Let me answer that question ... with an answer."
The answer the governor gave last night to reporters: "Let me answer that question with an answer. I'm not a party in that trial."
"I'm not following the trial. It would be inappropriate for me to comment on a trial I'm not a party in," Blagojevich said.
Reporters then pressed Blagojevich on whether sworn testimony at Tony Rezko's trial was accurate. Witness Stuart Levine said the governor told him "stick with us and you'll do very well for yourself."
Blagojevich was asked if that testimony was true.
"You know, that's a good question," Blagojevich said. "I'm not a party in that trial; I'm not in a place where I think it's appropriate for me to comment on a trial that I'm not involved in."

Ok I am starting to see a pattern here ...It seems that the operative word is to misslead ,miss represnt or out right lie this comming from any democrat from illinois such as Obama who first tried to pass off his relationship with Mr. Rezko as and I quote ( I hardly knew the man ) this was his statement early on before this trail started. So I have to ask ,,, Does it matter to anyone that they are lied to by their elected offical or just as long as they are a Democrate it don't matter if they cannot be trusted .....really sad ..and people ask why I moved out of the state

I am embarassed to tell anyone I live in Illinois. The corruption is out of control. The amount of federal investigators needs to be tripled. The "Combine" that runs this state thinks they are above the law. The republican and democratic leaders should resign and let honest people take over the government.

The only combine that runs the State of Illinois is the Democrat Combine. Every Statewide elected official is Democrat. The Illinois Senate is composed of 37 Democrats and 22 Republicans. The Illinois House consists of 67 Democrats and 51 Republicans.
Cook County is the 19th largest government in the United States, has far more Democratic Party members than any other Illinois county, and is one of the most Democratic counties in the United States. I don't know the exact political lineage of the Cook County Board is at the moment, but for my entire lifetime in Chicago it has always been majority Democrat. Cook County has only voted once for a Republican candidate in a Presidential election in the last forty years in 1972.
Folks who go into the polls and blindly vote for the Democrat party every election, proclaiming they are a Democrat and proud of it, deserve exactly the kind of government they get. They are the enablers who allow the wolf to watch the sheep. One party domination is never good.

the sad thing is if was in the suit or case he would say, until this is over I can not answer that so he has it his way now saying he is not involved in the case which is a lie as well. frank

Why doesn't anyone ask Blagojevich why Tony Rezko was interviewing his chief counsel on her job interview? Why doesn't anyone ask Blagojevich why his staff would go to Rezko's office once a week to discuss appointments? Why doesn't anyone ask Blagojevich why Rezko was present at top staff meetings?
