Wheaton Warrenville South's Purdue-bound running back Dan Dierking, who will lead the Tigers against Mount Carmel in the Class 8A title game on Saturday at 4 (Ch. 50) was one of the "Faces in the Crowd" in this week's Sports Illustrated.

Since we run rankings in the newspaper every Monday, selecting the favorites isn't very hard. I'm just happy to watch the players determine things on the field.
