According to a source, Waukegan senior and Illinois recruit Jereme Richmond will be named to the McDonald's All-American Game tomorrow. The game featuring the nation's top high school seniors will be played March 31 in Columbus, OH.

Steve Taylor, a talented 6-7 sophomore, has left Simeon for Mount Carmel. Taylor is a major prospect in football and basketball.

"He has a family member on the coaching staff and his family decided they wanted to make a move," Simeon basketball coach Robert Smith said. "I have no problem with it. If the kid is happy so am I. I wished him and his family well before he left. Steve competed in both football and basketball and was expected to be rated among the top wide receivers in football in the state as well as among the top basketball prospects."
