De La Salle: Everyone knows about Shaw. Dre Henley is back, and the last time he was at De he was fantastic. Young guards are the ? mark.

Deerfield: Dukan is at Wis. After leading them to a dream season last year. This year will be rebuilding, but the stakes have been raised.

Downers North: 12 players back from last season's 8-18. Boys soccer player of the year Paul Hogan also plays basketball

Downers South: Will challenge Proviso East for conf. title. Likely Super 25 team led by JR guards Jerron Wilbut and Jamal Millison.

Dunbar: Star football player Dervall Harris also a major hoops player. He's a 6-5 JR. Add 6-3 JR Bill Davis and this is a team to watch.

Dundee-Crown: Coach Lance Huber says "looking to rebound after a tough last season.Hope the team blends together and everyone accepts roles.

DuSable: Legendary program has falling on some hard times. Loads of talent surrounds the school, but most of the players end up elsewhere.

Dwight: AAU guys love to say Jens Kennedy, a 6-8 senior, is the type of player they give exposure to. S-T did cover him 3 times last year.

Dyett: Possible state darkhorse in 2A. Solid starting 5 including Steven Summerall, Anthony Clinton and 6-5 SR Cagette Reggs.
